Mounding, cascading habit new foliage deep crimson red. Foliage is finely cut, lacy and very dark purple-red through spring and summer, changing in the fall to shiny scarlet. Twigs & young branches are maroon whitish tone. Provide protection from afternoon sun and winds. Slow growing.
