A tough Ohio native aster for the woodland edge or partial shade natural garden. Heart shaped foliage grows about 2' tall. To encourage density, cut back to 6" in late spring. Small white daisies in September and October that fade to a dusky rose. Plants host caterpillars of the Pearl Crescent and Checkerspot Butterflies. A great late season food source for pollinators. 2 - 3' (syn. Eurybia divaricata)
