Upright arching deciduous shrub, prized for its display of colorful berries. Tiny, pink summer blooms grow into numerous metallic-lilac berries in the fall. Foliage emerges a bronze tint, matures to fresh green with no appreciable fall color. Easy to grow. Can be cut to the ground every few years to keep neat. Attracts birds.
