Spreading, rounded, deciduous tree. Blooms in early spring large, slightly fragrant, white blushing to pink, flowers. Foliage is dark green with minimal fall color. Plant in a protected spot. Slow to re-establish after transplanting. Keep a generous mulch ring over shallow roots.
