This pine will grow into a sturdy compact, broad pyramidal form. Thick green needles and fat resinous buds add to the visual interest. Use as a stout foundation tree for the garden, rock garden, a tremendous low windbreak, or a featured specimen tree depending on culture. Highly adaptable and drought tolerant once established.
