Compact, rounded deciduous shrub. Blooms in late spring with clusters of vivid red flowers, shearing induces reblooming. Foliage emerges reddish-green, maturing to dark green, changing to burgundy in the fall. Easy to grow and very tolerant. Moderate growth rate.
