Deep purple fragrant flowers that are single and each floret is very large; has the largest florets of all lilacs. It is one of the best purple available today. Foliage needs good air circulation and prompt removal of faded flower panicles before seed set will increase bloom for the following year. Prune as needed immediately after flowering.
