Upright, loosely open deciduous large shrub or small tree. Blooms in summer with billowy deep pink flowers. Foliage is feathery, juniper-like blue, changing to a russet orange in the fall. Best trimmed to the ground yearly for the foliage and flowers. Good with salt spray. Fast growing.
