A delightful small shrub with wonderfully fragrant, but sparsely produced, pinkish-white flowers in early spring. The small, deeply veined, glossy leaves emerge bronze-green and turn a reddish-purple in fall. The compact form makes it useful for massing and in the shrub border. Attracts birds and butterflies.
