NATIVE - A vigorous, woody vine that climbs by branched tendrils with adhesive disks. Grown for its attractive trumpet-shaped orange-red flowers and its ability to rapidly cover structures. The foliage turns reddish-purple in fall. The flowers appear in spring and are an early nectar source for butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer browse in winter. Easy to grow on trellises, fences, walls and other structures. Flowers best in sunnier areas.
