Broadly mounded, broadleaf evergreen shrub. Blooms in the summer with tiny flowers followed by numerous, shiny, bright red berries. Foliage is handsome, spiny, lustrous dark blue green, taking on a purple cast in winter. Moderately slow growing. Protect from wind and winter sun.
